Gary Flax, owner and President of Smart Automation solutions has over 35 years of industry & technology experience. Gary was into technology at a very early age and worked his way through college at a local AV shop in Rockville, MD. He then worked as a manufacturers representative in the AV & Technology industry before getting into the Telecom industry where he ran three sales divisions offering telephone/PBX systems, network & internet services and wireless services for over ten years.
Gary took the knowledge he gained from the Telecom industry and started Smart Automation Solutions in hopes to educate his customers about the value of home automation and smart home technology and how this technology could help not only the environment but also save customers money by taking better control of the devices they use every day in their homes. Over the years, the company has expanded their offerings and is now one of the top Audio Video and Home Automation Technology companies in the Washington DC Metro area and has been recognized as an HTA Certified custom AV company.
